The "Trancer's Guide to the Galaxy" was an annual project of Mushroom Magazine and Chaishop.com, printed out of Hamburg, Germany and distributed worldwide via mail. Initially a psychedelic trance guide produced only in German, starting in early 2002, they began to publish international editions in English under the name "Intershroom". In 2003, in cooperation with chaishop.com a new concept for the international edition was conceived and the guide's first edition was distributed worldwide in January of 2004. The magazine was to be an annual Trancer's Travel Guide to distribute helpful information for likewise thinking individuals from all around the globe. In 2005 & 2006 the magazine was coupled with a CD, which offers a collection of World Music. In early 2008 a special edition was published in Portuguese, mainly due it's popularity in South America. At the end of 2008 due to economic conditions Mushroom Magazine and chaishop.com ended their collaborations. But "The Team"; consisting of most of the editors, photographers and designers reorganized the project and found a way to keep their ideas alive.
